Emcore, Sandia Sign Photovoltaic Power Systems Agreement

Emcore Corp. of Somerset, N.J., a provider of compound semiconductor solutions for the broadband and wireless communications and solid-state lighting markets, today announced that it has signed a contract with Sandia National Laboratories of Albuquerque, N.M., under which Sandia will provide technical support for Emcore's terrestrial solar systems products. Also, Emcore will help commercialize solar power technologies that Sandia has developed over the years.
