Sofradir Receives Contract

Sofradir has received a contract valued at more than €5 million to deliver 200 Mercury long-wave infrared detectors for integration in thermal infrared weapon sights. The company, based in Grenoble, France, will customize and deliver 100 detectors with new technology and then produce an additional 100 units. The undisclosed customer is a worldwide supplier of electro-optic defense systems.
