Jianhua Jiang Joins Breault Research

Jianhua Jiang has joined optical engineering firm Breault Research Organization (BRO) of Tucson, Ariz., as a computational optical scientist after nearly 10 years of optical training and research at the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH), most recently as leader of the simulation group at its Nano and Micro Devices Center. As part of an interdisciplinary team there, Jiang explored the optimal design and integration of nano- and micro-photonics, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) and microfluidics. Jiang began his work at UAH in 1997, after arriving from Beijing, China, when nanotechnology was emerging as an area of critical research. He has since completed many advanced research projects for the National Science Foundation and other agencies, BRO said.
