BridgeLux Adds to Management Team

Sunnyvale, Calif.-based BridgeLux Inc. (formerly eLite Optoelectronics), a supplier of energy saving, power-LED chips, announced the addition of Dave Bouras chief scientist, Ghulam Hasnain as a senior scientist and Gloria Fan as chief financial officer. Having most recently served with Applied Materials’ new business development group, Bour, PhD, was part of Agilent Laboratories in Palo Alto, where he was named Agilent Fellow and Fellow of the IEEE in 2000 for his scientific contributions. Bour has published more than 200 articles and been granted 60 US patents. Hasnain, formerly vice president of Advanced Technology with LuxNet, brings over 20 years of experience in optoelectronics. He also holds several patents. Bour and Hasnain join a research and development team which includes Jeff Ramer, who contributed to the development of Emcore/Veeco’s E300 scale GaN MOCVD reactor, and Steve Lester, who developed some of the world’s first high power InGaN LED chips while with Agilent and Hewlett Packard. Fan, most recently vice president of global business operations at UTStarcom, has over 15 years of experience in finance and operations for high technology companies.
