Michael Klos to Head IPG Photonics Midwest Office

Oxford, Mass.-based fiber laser and amplifier maker IPG Photonics Inc. announced today it has opened a new sales and service office in the Detroit area and has appointed Michael Klos as Midwest operations manager. Klos has a 27-year background in laser and application technology, with experience in all aspects of beam delivery, including cutting and welding heads, autofocus systems, seam tracking, fiber delivery and beam analysis.
