Zarlink Appoints Warner Andrews VP Strategic Marketing and Business Development

Zarlink Semiconductor of Ottawa, a maker of semiconductor solutions for voice, broadband, enterprise and wireless communications, announced the appointment of Warner Andrews as vice president, strategic marketing and business development. Andrews brings to Zarlink over 20 years of technical marketing, product management and sales expertise in the optical electronics and telecommunications industries. Most recently, he owned and operated the consulting firm 290 Ventures. Andrews began his career as an ASIC design engineer with Wyle Laboratories, and has held senior engineering, sales, marketing and executive positions at companies such as Picolight and Conexant Systems.
