Modulight's Orsila Steps Down from Executive Role

Modulight announced that its founder, Seppo Orsila, has stepped down as CFO and vice president of marketing but will remain involved in strategic planning as chairman of its board. Orsila said in a statement that his decision "stems from personal career aspirations and opportunity to experience different type of responsibility, business and organization to further develop myself (sic)." Modulight, based in Tampere, Finland, makes laser diodes for optical applications in the industrial, communications, medical, space and defense industries.
