Breault to Fabricate Airborne Detector

Under a contract from Synodon Inc. of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Breault Research Organization Inc. of Tucson, Ariz., will fabricate and test a proto-flight version of Synodon’s realSens radiometer. Designed for the wide-range aerial inspection of gas pipelines, the airborne detector system uses correlation spectroscopy to identify gas leakage. It will have the capacity to cover roughly 100 km per h and to detect leaks at an early stage. Breault worked on the design and analysis of the device in two previous contracts with Synodon.
