Quintessence to Produce Optical-Sensing Lasers

Quintessence Photonics Corp. of Sylmar, Calif., has won a contract to develop and produce optical-sensing lasers based on its recently released semiconductor lasers, which employ proprietary internal gratings. The grating technology is expected to have numerous applications in military and industrial settings.
