OSA Foundation Funds Educational Programs
Four grants to educational programs for schoolchildren designed to increase awareness of and interest in optics and photonics have been announced by the Optical Society of America’s Foundation. Recipients are the National Coalition of Girls’ Schools in Concord, Mass.; Retired Scientists, Engineers & Technicians in Washington; the University of Nevada, Reno, planetarium; and the Optics Institute of Southern California in Irvine.
