In Berlin, JPK Instruments AG, a supplier of scanning probe microscopes for life sciences and soft matter applications, has acquired light power instruments GmbH, a developer of optical nanoinstrumentation, offering an experienced team and relevant intellectual properties. The companies are jointly developing a technology platform for the life sciences.
