New Wave Research and Ocean Optics to Partner
New Wave Research Inc. of Freemont, Calif., and Ocean Optics Inc. of Dunedin, Fla., will partner to develop and manufacture a family of laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) systems. The partnership is based on the companies’ collaboration on the LIBS-Elite system, which incorporates Ocean Optics’ miniature fiber optic spectrometer and New Wave Research’s laser ablation products.
