Companies to Develop Systems to Aid Drivers

Tyzx Inc. of Menlo Park, Calif., is working with I.M.A. of Rottbach, Germany, to develop a validation system for driver assistance components currently being tested by automaker BMW Group. The real-time 3-D video technology detects vehicle position, traffic signs, weather conditions and other useful information, and it records relevant data to validate the components.
