OPTICS WEB SITES

The Optical Society of America (OSA) has introduced enhanced Web sites to represent both its organization and its magazine Optics & Photonics News (OPN). The OSA portal features streamlined navigational functions and a consolidated master calendar of society and related industry events. The OPN site provides access to news briefs and book reviews, hyperlinks to references and resources, and a keyword-based search function to back issues of the magazine. The monthly publication includes in-depth coverage of recent developments in the field of optics. Contributors include scientists and journalists who specialize in the area. Full-text articles are available to OSA members.
