TOF DETECTORS
Burle Electro-Optics and the Photonis Group have released the “Time-of-Flight [TOF] Mass Spectrometer Detector Selection Guide,” which presents products ranging from 8 to 40 mm in diameter. Suitable for those involved in the design, engineering or procurement of the products and their applications, it features the Ultra-Fast 2-μm pore microchannel plate detector for mass spectrometry applications. The Advanced Performance and BiPolar detectors incorporate the Quick-Fit replacement cartridge, which facilitates field replacement of the Extended Dynamic Range microchannel plates. The Long-Life plates provide sustained output up to five times longer than others on the market, according to the company. The featured new patent-pending MountingPad plate technology reduces warping and cracking problems.
