Correlogic and JEOL Team to Advance Mass Spectrometry
Correlogic Systems Inc. and JEOL Ltd. announced yesterday they have formalized a yearlong collaboration by signing a research and development agreement to enhance the performance of mass spectrometry in a clinical setting. Specific details of the agreement were not disclosed. Tokyo-based JEOL makes scientific instruments used for R&D in nanotechnology, life sciences, optical communication, forensics and biotechnology. Correlogic, based in Rockville, Md., develops pattern-recognition technologies for use in biomarker discovery, disease detection and new drug discovery.
