Elbit Systems to Supply Imagers for Field Use
In Israel, Elbit Systems Electro-Optics Elop Ltd. of Rehovot, a subsidiary of Elbit Systems Ltd. of Haifa, has received several contracts from the Canadian and Israeli armed forces and other customers. Totaling approximately $50 million, the contracts are for handheld thermal imaging systems from the Coral family of products. Soldiers can carry the imagers on a neck strap and use them to view targets at tactical ranges from a fixed position or while the soldiers are in motion.
