The spring/summer 2007 issue of “Imaging Insight,” a newsletter published by Matrox Imaging, focuses on the Matrox Imaging Library software, which offers a variety of image processing tools, including geometric pattern recognition, feature-based character recognition, and edge detection and extraction. The eight-page edition introduces the software applications support team and includes an article on the new metrology module and its use for complex vision recognition and inspection functions. Other articles address the new Power over Camera Link standard and the company’s production cleanroom, where optical products are tested with the software.
