Future Electronics has launched a Web site to assist lighting engineers in the design and development of solid-state lighting systems. Dedicated to Luxeon LED products, the resource represents the company’s Future Lighting Solutions Div. It features power, thermal, optical and integration details and products, as well as information from more than 50 Certified Solutions Partners to help in selecting components and building fixtures. The site is searchable by camera flash, LCD backlighting, and portable, wide-area and emergency vehicle lighting application areas. It includes the Usable Light Tool to assist in comparing and selecting appropriate LEDs for a specific project.
