Avantes BV, a supplier of instruments for fiber optic spectroscopy — including spectrometers, light sources, fiber optic cables and probes as well as accessories — has released its “Catalog 2007-2008.” The 140-page publication features the ultrasensitive back-thinned CCD spectrometer and the balanced deuterium-halogen light source (200 to 500 nm). Introducing 40 new products and applications, the catalog is designed to help customers find the appropriate configuration of modular spectrometer system for their applications. The devices have applications in UV, VIS and NIR measurement for the chemical and biomedical sectors as well as other fields.
