ESA Names Interim CEO

Defense and electronics company Elbit Systems Ltd. of Haifa, Israel, announced today that Joseph A. Parini has been named interim president and CEO of the company's US arm, the Fort Worth, Texas-based Elbit Systems of America (ESA) LLC. Parini, chairman of the ESA board of directors, will head the company during the search for a replacement for Robert T. Elrod, who died Aug. 16. Elrod, a former Lockheed Martin Aeronautics executive, was also appointed to the position on an interim basis in April, replacing Tim Taylor.
