Companies Partner for Nanopositioning Systems
The Value Engineering Alliance of Cambridge, Mass., and the DTI-NanoTech division of Discovery Technology International LLLP of Sarasota, Fla., have allied to promote the development, implementation and acceptance of nanopositioning systems for applications in the laboratory and in industrial automation and military/intelligence systems, particularly for those that require computer vision and precise motion control in combination. The Massachusetts company supplies software that supports automatic identification, image enhancement and alignment/precision registration, among other areas, and DTI’s portfolio includes the NTS NanoDirect series linear nanopositioners.
