Saint-Gobain Buys Alpine Research Optics

Saint-Gobain Crystals, a producer of optical raw materials that is headquartered in Paris, has bought Alpine Research Optics of Boulder, Colo., a supplier of high-performance coated optics. The acquisition will allow the French company to expand its production capabilities and its range of products.
