Wayne White Named VP Operations at Kotura

Kotura Inc., a Monterey Park, Calif.-based provider of silicon photonic components for communications, computing, sensing and detection applications, today announced the appointment of semiconductor industry veteran Wayne White as vice president of operations. White brings to Kotura more than 30 years of experience in silicon and silicon photonics process development and manufacturing, having previously served as vice president of operations at Forza Silicon, Luxtera, and Photobit. He began his career with Hughes Aircraft as manager of wafer fabrication, and later became operations manager for Motorola Semiconductor Products, now known as Freescale.
