JDSU Designs Wireless Test Services for Beijing Olympics
JDSU said today it has introduced a specially designed edition of RoamerNet that allows wireless operators to test their service performance at Olympic venues in China months before the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, to be held Aug. 8-24 in 37 venues in seven cities; the events are expected to attract more than half a million, including 500,000 visitors, 10,708 athletes, 70,000 volunteers, 17,600 members of the press and 4000 staff. It has also introduced a mobile service assurance kit with information on test and measurement practices.
