Companies to Develop Single-Photon-Counting Module
Princeton Lightwave Inc. of Cranbury, N.J., and id Quantique SA of Geneva, are collaborating to develop a single-photon-counting module for 1064 nm by combining an optimized avalanche photodiode with integrated biasing and quenching electronics. The module will target applications in the fields of free-space quantum key distribution, remote sensing and spectroscopy.
