IMAGE PROCESSING
The book
Introduction to Image Processing and Analysis establishes the programming involved in the image processing methods by employing skills in C compiler and in Windows and MacOS programming environments. It illustrates the workings of algorithms and discusses the effects of the methods on images and their appropriate applications. Sections address adjusting pixel values; convolution and other neighborhood operations; image processing in the Fourier domain; binary images, including thresholding and morphological processing; and global and feature measurements, and classification. A 16-page color insert provides example images. Shortcuts for problems in image acquisition, storage and display are detailed. John C. Russ and J.
