Kappa opto-electronics GmbH has released its 30-page “Digital Cameras & Systems Catalog 2007/08,” which presents the company’s offerings, including signature and cooled cameras, in more than 170 models. An overview of the various cameras, sensors, interfaces and housings is provided, along with detailed descriptions and specifications. A section on how to select the appropriate camera for an application discusses considerations such as design, resolution, sensor size, light sensitivity, color or monochrome, a PS or DX camera system, and positioning and adjustment. Software for camera control, integration of cameras and image management is described. Charts and diagrams are provided.
