Entrepreneur Contest Open to Upstate NYers

Entrepreneurs with innovative ideas are being sought to enter the fifth annual Mohawk Valley Business Plan Competition, sponsored by Mohawk Valley EDGE, an economic development organization serving Oneida and Herkimer counties. The winner will receive $10,000 cash and professional services and will be announced at the Leading EDGE Awards luncheon, May 7 at Hart’s Hill Inn in Whitesboro, N.Y. The contest is open to companies located in Oneida or Herkimer county that are under two years old with less than $2 million in annual revenue and to individuals who live or attend college in either county. Entries must be submitted by April 3 at 4 p.m.; finalists will be announced by April 25.
