Fujitsu Files Patent Suit Against Tellabs

Fujitsu Ltd. and Fujitsu Network Communications Inc. filed a lawsuit Tuesday against Tellabs Inc. and Tellabs Operations Inc. in the US District Court in the Eastern District of Texas claiming Tellabs’ products infringe four US patents covering optical communication technologies. The products allegedly in question include the Tellabs 7100 Optical Transport System, Tellabs 5500 series and Tellabs 6300 series.
