Princeton Lightwave Earns DARPA Contract
Princeton Lightwave Inc. of Cranbury, N.J., has been awarded a two-year, $3.5 million contract by DARPA. The company will use the award to develop focal plane arrays that employ Geiger mode avalanche photodiodes to achieve single-photon sensitivity for use as optical engines for 3-D imaging flash ladar systems at 1.06 μm.
