Nexxus Lighting to Acquire Lumificient

Nexxus Lighting Inc. of Charlotte, N.C., has announced that it has signed a nonbinding letter of intent to acquire the Maple Grove, Minn.-based Lumificient Corp., a manufacturer of solid-state LED products for the sign lighting, commercial/architectural and retail markets. The transaction is expected to close in April.
