Axsys Receives $21.9 Million Order

Axsys Technologies Inc. of Rocky Hill, Conn., has received a $21.9 million order from BAE Systems plc of London to produce dual-field-of-view infrared lenses as part of the US Army’s Common Remotely Operated Weapon Station program. The contract will allow BAE to order additional quantities of the lenses over the next five years. Its value could total $87 million if all options are exercised maximally.
