Richard Nakajima to Manage Jazz in Japan

Wafer foundry Jazz Semiconductor announced it has named Richard Nakajima of radio frequency (RF) design services company Cubic Micro as its country manager in Japan. Nakajima will operate out of the Cubic Micro office in Yokohama to develop its customer base and provide sales, marketing and customer support, Jazz said. "Richard Nakajima has an extensive background in foundry services and a record of high achievement," said Chuck Fox, Jazz vice president of sales and marketing. "I am confident his leadership and experience will help the sales team address our Japanese customers' needs more effectively, and drive Jazz's next growth phase in Japan's RF, power, and high-precision analog markets." According to the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA), the analog market in Japan for 2007 was estimated at $5.5 billion, which was 15.5 percent of the total worldwide analog market.
