Dilas Opens Fab in China

Dilas, a diode laser company based in Mainz, Germany, announced it has opened a manufacturing facility in Nanjing, China, where the company also has a Shanghai-based office (Dilas China), headed by Lin Yang, PhD, director of sales and marketing. The new facility is the company's first maufacturing plant in China. Dilas also has an affiliate, Dilas Diode Laser Inc., at the University of Arizona Technology Park in Tucson, Ariz. That plant features a Class 1000 cleanroom and equipment developed by the company for the assembly and testing of diodes and diode modules for the US market.
