Oki Optical Partners with Kotura
In California, Oki Optical Components of Sunnyvale and Kotura Inc. of Monterey Park have partnered to commercialize new products. They plan to introduce a 10-Gb/s avalanche photodiode receiver with an integrated variable optical attenuator for metropolitan applications. With a fast response time, the silicon photonic attenuator enables the receiver to support a wide range of applications. Oki supplies high-speed optical and integrated circuit components for telecommunications applications, and Kotura, silicon photonic components.
