Infotonics Technology Center Expands

Infotonics Technology Center Inc. of Canandaigua, N.Y., a nonprofit corporation that operates New York state’s Center of Excellence in Photonics and Microsystems, has invested $5 million to open a packaging laboratory. The new facility, in combination with the existing fabrication laboratory, will enable the company to offer full services to customers seeking to create new devices and microsystems. It is equipped with basic and advanced technology to support rapid prototyping and process development through to low-volume manufacturing.
