Trumpf Acquires Segments of Fisba

Trumpf Laser GmbH + Co. KG has bought the laser plastic welding and selective laser soldering segments of Fisba Optik AG of St. Gallen, Switzerland, a developer of micro-optics for beam formation of laser diodes. The German company plans to offer a wider range of laser system applications, including systems for laser plastic welding and soldering.
