Optical trapping kit

!%Arryx Inc.%! has released a brochure on its HOTkit holographic optical trapping kit, which enables researchers to implement advanced trapping capabilities on their own optical benches. The four-page downloadable document notes that the kit combines a phase-only spatial light modulator and software, and that, when integrated with a suitable laser, microscope, computer and camera, it enables simultaneous optical trapping of many objects in three dimensions, as well as other techniques. Specifications are provided, and hardware and other features are described. The HOTkit standard, developer and advanced packages are outlined.
