Lumera Receives Government Contract

Lumera Corp. of Bothell, Wash., a designer of telecommunications technologies, has been awarded Phase III of a contract with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). The yearlong award is worth $2.4 million and involves developing materials with improved electro-optic coefficients as well as qualified thermal- and photostability, and processing the materials into devices.
