LG Chem, Universal Display to Collaborate
LG Chem Ltd. of Seoul, South Korea, and Universal Display Corp. of Ewing, N.J., have signed a nonexclusive joint development agreement to combine the former company’s electron transport and hole injection materials with the latter’s phosphorescent organic LED (OLED) emitter materials and technology. The collaboration will accelerate the commercialization of high-performance OLED materials for use in displays and lighting.
