Battelle Names Top Technology Challenges for 21st Century

A group of scientists and engineers from Battelle Memorial Institute have identified the top 10 technological challenges facing industry over the next decade. They are bringing health care into the home; personalizing consumer products; integrating technology into the home; protecting the environment and natural resources; going from user-friendly to fun-to-use; designing genetically superior natural, healthy foods; developing alternative, mobile energy sources; shifting from national to personal security; renewing public infrastructure; and uniting the global marketplace.
