Supertex, Varioptic Collaborate

Supertex Inc. of Sunnyvale, Calif., and Varioptic of Lyon, France, have agreed to collaborate on the production of a driver and a liquid lens to add autofocus capability in cellular phone and PDA cameras, bar-code readers and biometric scanners. The companies say that the collaboration will enable them to offer a complete solution to their customers.
