Asymtek Promotes Chris Brown

Asymtek of Carlsbad, Calif., announced the promotion of Chris Brown to regional sales manager, UK and Ireland, for Asymtek and its sister company, EFD, which makes precision dispensing devices for applying assembly fluids used in manufacturing. Brown will oversee the region's sales distribution network, assist customers and identify new business opportunities. Brown has been with Westlake, Ohio-based parent company Nordson for seven years as EFD's European business development manager for automated equipment. Before that he worked for a Japanese distributor, selling robotics into the UK and Ireland. He also has extensive experience in the medical and fuel cell industries in the UK. Asymtek makes automated fluid dispensing and coating systems for semiconductor packaging, LEDs, flat panel display assembly, medical/biotech product assembly and other precision assembly processes.
