Coherent, BMI Tap Out Agreement for Ultrafast Amplified Systems

Coherent Inc.'s Laser Group in Santa Clara, Calif., and BM Industries (BMI) of Evry, France, have agreed to combine Coherent's technical support and distribution with BMI's ultrafast line of amplifiers, targeting a range of scientific disciplines from time-resolved spectroscopy to phase studies. Coherent will provide worldwide distribution and technical support for BMI's Alpha 1000-kHz amplifier systems and other BMI accessories, except for France, where BMI will continue this responsibility. The companies will share distribution and support in Japan.
