!%Moritex Europe Ltd.%! has launched a newsletter on machine vision components to help engineers and scientists achieve optimal solutions for their applications. Published in the spring of 2008, the inaugural issue of “See more!” is available in print or as a pdf. The four-page document describes components such as the ML-N series macro lenses, which enable inspection with cameras equipped with up to 1/2-in. sensors, and the MML6-HR65D-VI high-resolution lens, which has a variable iris. Suggestions are offered for choosing a lens for alignment tasks where mimimal depth of field is an advantage.
