Edmund Optics Celebrates 15 Years in China

Edmund Optics (EO), producer of optics, imaging, and photonics technology, has announced they will celebrate 15 years of local service in China with an anniversary celebration in early 2009. EO’s first China office opened its doors in October 1994, under the direction of Robert Edmund and Henry Bai, who soon became the EO China managing director. In 2005, a larger optical assembly, inspection and engineering center was developed under the direction Jeremy Chang, current managing director of EO China. According to Chang, EO has 60 employees in the Shenzhen location while the Shanghai office houses ten staff members. The EO China staff recently launched a Product Line Management Team in Shenzhen and will be adding a direct sales force and technical support group to the lineup in the fall.
