Applied Energetics Receives Army Contract

The US Army has awarded a follow-on contract to Applied Energetics Inc. of Tucson, Ariz., for the continued development of light filament sensor technology. The program is dedicated to developing a system for detecting and identifying trace concentrations of various chemicals, including toxins and explosives, from standoff distances.
