QinetiQ Wins $206M Contract
The Space and Naval Warfare (Spawar) Systems Center has awarded the Systems Engineering Group (SEG) of QinetiQ North America an eight-year, $206 million multiple-award, IDIQ (indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity) contract to provide life-cycle support services to its Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) programs in Philadelphia.
The Spawar Systems Center San Diego (SSC-SD) focuses on the acquisition and support of military-related C4ISR systems. Its procurement spans the full life-cycle spectrum, from concept development to end-of-life support of associated systems and equipment.
To support SSC-SD C4ISR, QinetiQ will offer logistics planning, post development assembly and test, worldwide system maintenance, development of user documentation and training courses. According to the company they will also be responsible for the delivery of training to users and maintainers, 24/7 Help Desk support, installation and fielding of systems at user sites, and various other technical, operational and administrative support services. All work will be performed in Philadelphia.
