Pulse Rate, Pressure and Heart-Condition Monitoring Glasses (US 7376238)

A pair of health glasses powered by a battery and solar cell has been invented to monitor the heart’s vital signs. LEDs emit light into a human’s temple, and the cells capture light reflected from the pulsing blood. Embedded circuitry cleans and amplifies the signals, which are transmitted to light emitters on the glasses. Heart rhythms and pulse rate are made available to doctors via the Internet. Sensors may be placed on any part of the body.
